Have you ever played along with your students at the level of your own musical ability (so seldom maximized), giving them a simple yet highly effective part, and drawing them into a wonderful synthesis that makes a greater, beautiful whole? If you have, you know that those moments are simply magical, and mark points of joy throughout the year that make it all worth doing.
