About Me

I am an Orff Specialist teaching K-6 elementary music, enriched by graduate studies in education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (M. Ed) and University of Cambridge UK (Ph. D), and by ongoing studies in Afro-Caribbean dance/drumming, and World Music.

I am committed to musical excellence and grounding music in its cultural context.  In my classroom and my workshops, I share with students and teachers the joy of performing in community, the satisfaction of achieving excellence, and the wonder of discovering the world of music and the world through music.
